Jamboree Question of the Day - Day 45, Dec 24th 2010

A straight line passes through the point ( p, -2) and another line passes through the point (3, q). The two straight lines passes through the origin. Is the slope of the first line greater than that of the second straight line?
1. –pq < 0
2. |p|>|q|


Solution (Posted on 25th):

Answer is  E ys pq > 0 means p and q are positive or both negative. But we don’t know relation between them.
From ii also we cant say Combining we can say p > q if p and q are positive or p < q if p and q are negative. So E
